For he was 2 weeks old, Timothée was counted as member of the church and
since he was with us in God's services. We were members of the Baptiste
Charismatique Church of Pontoise, a city near Paris. Timothée went to
the Sunday School since he was 3 years old. He was always enthusiastic to
pray and started his prayer as follows:
"Hello Jesus, it's me Timothée who are praying."
At the nursery school, he couldn't pray not even bless the meal and Timothée
once cried when he returned at home, because the schoolmistress didn't allow
him to sing a christian song. He liked to sing the songs of his Good
Shepherd.
The name Timothée means "Who honours God", his name he carried
it well til the end.
He preferred song was: "Your love, Your power, Your
presence in my life. I want to adore You by all my heart, I want to adore
You by all my soul and I want to adore You by all my force because You are
my God." This song, he sang it until the end, even if he didn't have
any more force.
In Finland, at the school, there were the morning prayer, the blessing of
the meal, education and religious festivities. What wonder for this little
disciple of Jesus. When he returned at home, after the first school day,
he shouted when the door swung open:
"Super! The mistress is a believer."
The Sunday School, the church life, were very important to Timothée. There
too, he had got good friends. He wanted to be baptized at the Pentecostal
Church of Mikkeli, but the illness stoped him. Timothée was sad, but we
believe that Jesus Himself baptized him in the Crystal Lake.
All along his life, as we had already said, Timothée loved Jesus. He had a
particular, natural relation with Jesus, as if he saw Him walking beside him.
During the period when he was sick, this relation grew. Often when we steped
in his room, he had the hands crossed, and he said to us:
"Wait a moment, I'm praying."
These were his privileged moments with Jesus. How much would we like to be,
like this little boy, close to God. When he had been announced to him, at
the hospital, that the medicines didn't cure him, firstly, he cried but after
he praid and the morning after he said to us:
"now I'm in peace, because I know that God takes care of me."
The doctor asked whether he wanted to have another chimio, he answered that not,
thus, if he cured all would recognized that his cure was because of God. We
asked to him if he really understand, that he'll die, he answered:
"I'm ready to risk my life for the glory of God!"
However, He received two more very strong treatments of chemotherapy, but without effects.
He've had very difficult moments during the last month.
Timothée has to receive oxygen. One day, when he was very sick, I started to cry,
then he said to me: "Don't worry mum, these are only
afflictions, so that won't be too easy and so we don't stop praying."
When we asked to him whether he didn't cure, was he afraid to go to Heaven.
He answered:
"maybe a little, I'll would preferred to go together
with you. I'm afraid that I'll miss "nounours". (Timothée had since he was
baby, a teddy bear which followed him in all adventures and mesaventures.)"
What could we answer to him? We know all, that we can't take nothing with us,
but we said to him: "We are sure that Father in Heaven will arrange this affaire."
The "nounours" had been put in Timothée's arms in the coffin for always, God will deal with.
If somebody asked Timothée if he were afraid, he answered, that he is not,
because he knew that no matter what happen to him, he will be well. Oh, if
we could all be so sure and trustful about our future.
We've had many insterestings conversations during the last weeks. They made
us grow spiritually. For nothing in the world we won't change these moments.
We read the Bible, Abraham had became a spiritual model. How his faith and
his trusting in God were deep. The travels of Paul the apostle had of course
interested the little historian. How Stephen had seen the heaven open and
Jesus sitting on his throne. How Jesus lived on earth, cured sick people and
comforted oppressed. We were delighted to know that soon, we'ill be all together,
gathered for the Weddings of the Lamb and we'll see what we'll eat in Heaven.
During the last weeks, Timothée didn't have anymore appetite and once when I
tried to feed him, he said:
"You know, that I'm not any more hungry of this food,
I'm only hungry of the spirit."

He remained to him little force, however he was concerned for the others,
those which didn't know Jesus, and cried because of those which had a difficult
life. How such a child would have continued to live on this ground? We believe
that Father in Heaven wished this child near Him for a very particular task.
A certain evangelist says one day:
"We cry those of our close relations, who fell asleep
and ask why God didn't heal them, but we can comfort ourselves by thinking
that the world was not worthy of them and God needed somes for his service."
We know that Timothée worried for us, how we would continue to live, what
deep sorrow we have without him, he is everything to us. And the sorrow was
deep, a so immense sadness, which can't even be describe. But we promised
to Timothée that we'll manage, that he could go in peace. When his Dear
Savior came to take him, he didn't have any more fear nor concern.
We can say: Timothée sees now what he believed in.
